Interstate Hiking Club Schedule
If you need a printed UCHC schedule please call the Union County Dept of Parks (908) 527 -4900 during business hours. Request they mail you a copy of the UCHC schedule. There is a New Membership application in the center of the schedule.
Many of our members belong to a Google Group named Trail Talkers of Northern New Jersey. You can find some non-UCHC activities on this site. Send an email to trail-talkers@googlegroups.com to request an invitation to join.
Dear Members:
Hikes and bike rides only get on our schedule if they have a leader.
So
members if you like hiking with a group please consider volunteering to
lead. You can offer a hike
that is easier or more difficult, longer or shorter, a hike we do often
or one we have never done before.
Each of the leaders you have seen on the schedule or on the trail was
once a 'new' leader and many will be willing to co lead or scout a hike
with you.
Contact a hike coordinator (they are listed in the printed
schedule), a hike leader you admire..or Al MacLennan .
Remember YOU are Union County Hiking Club!
